The search is on for someone to design this year's jersey for Parkes' Nations of Origin teams.
The Parkes PCYC has put out the call to the community, seeking the town to get involved with the design of their Indigenous uniform for the state tournament.
"Do you have a story to tell through art?" Parkes PCYC manager Kimberley Sherrett said.
"We’d love to see your design represent our people and culture on the field."
Designs need to be submitted to parkes@pcycnsw.org.au by Friday, 23 January.
The winning design will be announced at the Parkes PCYC's community event they held for the first time last year before they headed off to the competition in Sydney on 14-18 July.
The design will also be on display at the Nations of Origin Cultural Event in Sydney.
The PCYC Nations of Origin tournament is held around NAIDOC Week every year.
It focuses on sport, culture, education and leadership, and brings together as many as 1400 Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people from across the state.
Last year Parkes took part with one girls and two boys rugby league teams, two basketball teams and two gymnastics teams with a total of 56 kids, its gymnasts coming home with gold and bronze medals.
