The ballot draw was conducted at the Parkes returning office on Thursday, and the candidates were drawn out by returning officer Matthew Irvine.
Before a small group of witnesses, Mr Irvine confirmed the registrations received, and placed them into a ballot box which was secured and shaken.
Their names now appear on the ballot paper in the order they were drawn.
There is one group - named Group Number 1 - that has registered for the election.
Candidates are Glenn Wilson, Erik Snyman, Matthew Scherer, Daniel Weber, Peter Weber and Ray Hodge.
The other candidates are (in ballot order):
- Neil Westcott
- Ken Keith
- Cathy Francis
- Marg Applebee
- Johanne Burke
- Bill Jayet
- Jacob Cass
- John Coulston
- George Pratt
- Sean White
- John Southon
- Kenny McGrath
- Louise O'Leary
The ballots for Forbes Shire and Lachlan Shire were also completed on site.
The majority of us head to the polls to cast our votes on Saturday, December 4, but pre-poll and iVote voting opens on November 22. Details to come closer to the time.
The NSW Electoral Commission is recruiting people to work in Parkes on election day or possibly in the lead-up to the day.
