The Parkes Boars continued their strong recent history over Dubbo Rhinos, with a 34 point win in glorious sunshine at Northparkes Oval on Saturday afternoon.

The Boars have now accumulated 74 points to just 17 in their two clashes over the Rhinos this season, and they have smashed their northern rivals from pillar to post.
The game was tight early, with the Rhinos muscling up well in defence.
Nathan Langalli broke the game open with some electric runs down the wing, before Josh Nash opened the scoring in the 14th minute after a strong break from Jonah Ruzgas.
From there on, the floodgates opened, and try as they might, Dubbo was no match for the dominant Parkes scrum play and swashbuckling back line.

If not for some very questionable refereeing, the Boars may have won by even more, completely turning their opponents around in the scrum multiple times.
Central West Rugby CEO Matt Tink, himself an accomplished prop, generously came to Boars training a few weeks ago to help with the scrum and it has been showing in recent games.
With Rusi Lawanikula anchoring the scrum at number 8, the Boars forwards look to be playing with renewed confidence.

A card happy referee saw Parkes reduced to 12 men at one stage near the end of the game, but it didn't matter; with four tries in the second half sealing the win for the Boars.
Parkes will look to pile on the points next Saturday, when they take on CSU in Bathurst.
After the shock 19-3 win to Narromine over ladder leaders Mudgee, the ladder has really tightened up with just the top two making the final.
Mudgee still sit top of the New Holland Cup ladder with 28 points, with Narromine and Parkes sitting at 26 and 24 points respectively.
