The Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) conducted a drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic in Parkes last week, with a good amount of residents queuing up.

About 10 health staff members tested 71 people at the Parkes mobile clinic on August 12 in the Little Theatre car park in Bogan Street (Newell Highway).
WNSWLHD's free mobile testing clinic has now tested more than 2800 people.
WNSWLHD communications support officer Belinda O'Sullivan said the service was well supported in Parkes.
"The team loved visiting Parkes," Ms O'Sullivan said.
"They had great support from the council (Parkes Shire Council) and positive feedback from the community."
There are currently no known cases of COVID-19 in Parkes.
COVID-19 tests are always available through GPs and local hospitals. Testing is available for people who have experienced even mild symptoms that can be associated with the disease. Symptoms include: fever, a sore or 'scratchy' throat, a cough and runny nose.
