Emergency services were contacted after a motorist came across car crashed on Henry Parkes Way, 13km west of Parkes, about 10am today (Wednesday 29 April 2020).
Officers attached to Central West Police District attended along with SES and NSW Ambulance, and found a 75-year-old man trapped inside the vehicle.
He was released and airlifted to Orange Base Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial inquiries indicate that the vehicle left the roadway, travelled down a embankment and rolled a number of times.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced and anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
Inquiries are continuing.
