Officers from the Central West Police District Highway Patrol unit say the incident occurred at 9.35am on Friday when a 29-year-old man lost control of his vehicle.
Police arrived at the scene and breath tested the driver who returned a positive reading.
He was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station where he was subjected to a breath analysis.
This returned a reading in the low range.
He was issued an infringement notice for driving with a low range PCA ($572) and his licence was confiscated and suspended for three months.
The NSW Police Easter long weekend operation runs until 11.59pm on Monday with double points given for speeding, mobile phone, seatbelt and motorcycle helmet offences during the statewide operation.
