Jane attended the Council Chambers on January 21 where she was presented an award marking her 10th year from Mayor Ken Keith OAM, and in the presence of her manager chief operations officer Anthony McGrath.
Jane began her employment with council on December 1, 2009 in the finance section as the creditors clerk/accounts payable before successfully obtaining a position in the Governance and Corporate Planning section as the records and information officer in September 2011.
Just under two years later when there was a restructure within the section, Jane was appointed the administration support officer in February 2013.
She became the strategy and governance officer in June 2015.
By October 2016 she was appointed to the position of corporate strategy and performance officer.
"Jane is responsible for coordinating council's Integrated Planning and Reporting suite of documents, annual reports and strategies, and many other documents published by council," Cr Keith said.
He said she has done this "in a professional manner, as well as maintaining and reporting metrics on council's performance across the organisation".
"She is a valued member of the Organisational Capability Team."
