Festival goers took much delight in the cooler weather on Saturday morning and lined the main street to watch the Northparkes Mines Street Parade.
Our rural firefighters led the parade with their helmets on their chest in memory of their fallen comrades and received an appreciative round of applause from the crowd as they made their way down the street.
The parade was packed with an array of colourful costumes worn by young and old alike as they made their way from the top of the main street to Cooke Park.
The Frankie and Johnny theme was featured throughout the parade.
