Round 6, as we see the end of daylight savings we are nearly half way though our winter competition.
As we are now into week 6 of the competition, if you have not registered and paid you will be unable to take the court this week. If your name is highlighted on the score card it means you have not paid.
Any teams playing an unregistered or un-financial player will lose three competition points.
Parkes Netball Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting at the Parkes Services club on Monday 20th May at 7pm. Please come along and have your say about netball in Parkes.

Sydney trained two year old Superium won the Boot, the much travelled Goldstream won the Cup, local galloper Butter Toast proved the best stayer in the Iron Horse and Dubbo jockeys Greg Ryan and Ken Dunbar between them won half the races at the highly successful Wellington Boot Carnival.
These were some of the highlights on Saturday and Sunday however a lasting memory will be the incredibly long queues of happy punters waiting to collect their winnings after Greg Ryan and El Mo delivered the knockout blow to bookmakers in the final event of the highly successful Wellington Boot carnival.
At debut, Superium impressed when winning at Bathurst and the Joe Pride, Warwick Farm trained juvenile improved even further when beating a classy field in the $150,000 State Wide Sheds-Peter Fisher Memorial Wellington Boot over 1100 metres.
Former South Australian and now Sydney based Chad Lever gave his mount a nice run behind the leaders and when a gap appeared Superium ( $1.95 favourite ) dashed through and overhauled the Stephen Jones, Scone trained Cassy's Sister ( Grant Buckley, $5 ) to win the Boot by a long neck.
Deviate ( Winona Costin, $11 ) from the Brett Thompson stable at Gulgong was a length and a half away in third place while the Tony Newing, Gosford trained Divine Approach ( Jake Pracey-Holmes, $31 ) was a fast finishing fourth.
Goldstream, winner of the $100,000 Quains Liquor-Ian Giffin Wellington Cup ( 1700 metres ),has travelled the world since first racing on tracks in Rome.
Winner of the first five races in Italy including the 2015 Italian Derby, Goldstream then contested major events in Germany and America.
Imported to Australia, Goldstream won races in South Australia and Melbourne before joining the Cody Morgan stable at Tamworth last year.
Coming from last, Goldstream ( $21 ) ridden by apprentice Samantha Clinton wore down Potent Force ( Jake Pracey-Holmes, $7.50 ) to win the Wellington Cup by a short head with Vega ( Greg Ryan,$4.20 ) a long head away, third
Goldstream raced in the same colours as the 2014 Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist with John Hunter from Mendooran having a share in both horses imported by the Australian Bloodstock syndicate.
Potent Force ran a gallant second in the Cup for local trainer Mick Mulholland who had a winning double on the first day of the carnival with Butter Toast ( Jake Pracey-Holmes,$2.80 ) and Demonize ( Mathew Cahill,$1.90 favourite )
Butter Toast, in an outstanding staying performance, led all the way to win the 2400 metres Over The Line- Iron Horse Benchmark 58 Handicap from Ten Tigers ( Quayde Krogh, $11 ) and Bemboka ( Greg Ryan, $2.70 fav.).
Ken Dunbar played a starring role with well judged rides to win the first three races on Saturday with Commanding Rose ( $2.40 fav. ) from the Damien Lane stable at Wyong, Skipper Joe ( $3.10 ) trained at Bathurst by Dean Mirfin and Sass'N'Twinkle ( $3 ) trained at Orange by Sonja Sharp.
Greg Ryan served much of his apprenticeship at Wellington and the champion jockey has a big following in the town.
Bookmakers were on their knees when Ryan rode the first three winners on Sunday, Settle Then Lift ( $2.20 fav.), Super Cyclone ( $1.85 fav.) and Pauldron, ($3.50 ).
After the win in the final race by El Mo ( $3.20 fav.) ridden by Greg Ryan the payout queues in front of bookmakers and the TAB van were the longest seen for many years at a central west track.
Trained by Gayna Williams at Mudgee, El Mo was given a great run on the rails by Greg Ryan and swooped on the leaders to win the $50,000 Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club Wellington Town Plate ( 1100 metres ) in a photo finish from Anna's Joy ( Robyn Freeman-Key, $5 ) and I Am Magnificent ( Ken Dunbar, $8.50 ).
Racing at Grenfell Picnics on Saturday followed by Forbes Camel Races ( Good Friday ), Lightning Ridge ( Easter Saturday ), Mudgee TAB and Bourke Picnics on Easter Sunday.
