If you didn't already know, it's a heart-warming tale of a young orphan named Anne Shirley and her coming of age.
A feisty teenager and quick-tempered, Anne finds herself in all sorts of scrapes!
First-time director Lisa Ramsay has taken on the top job for the Parkes Musical and Dramatic Society's production, with 17-year-old Krystal-Lee McMurray from Forbes stepping up into the role of Anne.
Emily McHugh-Douglas will play Anne's best friend Diana, with Hamish Sanderson acting as Gilbert Blythe, and Aaron Kingham and Cate McHugh-Douglas as Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert.
In total the cast features 31 actors, half of them teens and children.
It all begins tonight at 7.30pm, with performances on Sunday, next weekend, Wednesday, April 24 and the weekend of April 26-28.
There will be no shows over the Easter weekend.
