While we were only able to capture mums and dads with their new arrivals at the Parkes Hospital for the first six months of last year - due to the closure of the facility's birthing services - we have been able to still compile our annual baby photo gallery.
Instead, we invited parents who may have missed out on our regular hospital visits to take part by asking them to send in their photos of their little ones.
This is the result. Check out the photos above.
Have you had a baby and want to announce the birth?
Our hospital visits have been temporarily put on hold due to no birthing services in Parkes, but we are still publishing our birth announcements in the newspaper.
If you'd like to announce the birth of your newborn in the Parkes Champion Post, simply email the following details to barbara.reeves@parkeschampionpost.com.au, call 6862 2322 or pop into our office to fill out the form:
- Babies full name
- Gender
- Birth date and time
- Birth location
- Birth weight and length
- Parents' names and home town
- Siblings, including ages
- Grandparents' names and home towns (optional: you can also include what number grandchild your little one is).
- A contact number just in case.
- Don't forget to send us a photo (vertical and with at least one parent in the photo is preferred).
