Middleton were able to get the better of a depleted Rovers Black side winning the match 2-1. Rovers put in a superb defensive performance but were unable to deny Peta Fagan of two goals. Georgia Kearney scored a sensational reverse stick goal for Rovers. Peta Fagan and Jordan Fagan were very strong for Middleton with Jacqui Simpson and Lara Piercy working hard all match for Rovers.
A grade men
Star Budgies got the better of a depleted Magpies Black side winning 12-3 in a very high scoring match. Goals for Budgies came through Jacob Townsend (4), Andrew Bourke (3), David Sherrit (2), Jayden Pusterla, Taylor Dolbel and Matt Welsh. Royce Simpson, Tim Wright and Andrew Finn all scored for Magpies. Jacob Townsend was best on ground with an outstanding performance for Budgies. He was well supported by Andrew Bourke and Nick Kelly. Graeme Tanswell played well for Magpies.
B grade women
Rovers Gold maintained their good form with a hard fought 1-0 win over Middleton. Sass Tildsley scoring a great goal. Best for Rovers were Simone Webb, Kassi Green and Lara Piercy with Sheridan Kirk, Tracie Sams and Roxanne Parker strong for Middleton.
Rovers Black were too strong for Marist winning 5-0. Rovers scored some nice goals through Carla Peden (2), Kassi Green (2) and Abigail Simpson. Best for Rovers were M’Lissa Ross, Kasi Green and Sass Tildlsey with Emma Manks and Courtney Rousell playing well for Marist. Magpies White put in a strong team performance to defeat Magpies Black 4-2.
Kate Shambrook scored a double with Eliza Creith and Sommer Tanswell also converting for White. Natalie Munday and Kate Rice scored nice goals for Black. Best for White were Lisa Clarke, Kate Shambrook, Sommer Tanswell and Eliza Creith with Charli Robinson and Kate Rice playing well for Black.
B grade men
Cellars Black defeated Marist 3-2 in a close encounter. Cellars worked well to construct three nice goals through Steve Collins, Toby Collins and Grant Skinner. Liam Moody was strong in the circle for Marist converting two opportunities.
Youngster, Toby Collins, was best on ground in a stand out performance for Marist. He was well supported by Jack Rice and Ben Gibson. Jeff Westcott played well. Magpies Black defeated Rovers Gold 1-0 in a tight match.
Joseph Tanswell scored a nice goal to give Magpies the victory. He received maximum points in a strong performance for Magpies with Archie Rix and Ryan Dunford also performing well. Recently named NSW squad members, Jacob Chambers and Jack Westcott, were in great form for Rovers.
Middleton defeated Cellars Aqua 2-0 in a nice team performance. Two nice goals were scored by Grant Rousell and Gordan McIntosh. Mitchell Toole, Tim Welsh, Tobey Thorne and Nick Kelly all played well for Middleton with George Mitton the stand out for Cellars.
