Cunningham travelled to Newcastle for the Australian Jetski Titles where he raced the Pro Stock class and the premier PRO Runabout.
The 19-year-old raced away with a third place in Pro Stock and then put on a hard fight against the current Australian champion in the Pro Runabout Class.
Cunningham managed to come away with a race win but a fuel issue ended his dreams of claiming the number one plate.
Cunningham’s had a busy few months on the water and it’s not about to slow down either.
Cunningham will now focus on the World Series UIM rounds in China to which the world’s elite are invited.
He’ll then head back to Thailand for the Kings Cup in December.
