Monday, April 4 – Where Old Meets New
Join us at Neighbourhood Central for an event with a difference!
Go back to days gone by with a vintage car ride around town.
Watch an amazing pottery and craft exhibition and have a go yourself!
You can also step in to the future with our technology lessons.
Let us help you with your computer, iPad or smartphone!
You can participate in one or all of these activities, while enjoying a delicious morning tea.
Wednesday, April 6 – Movie Morning plus Lunch at The Dish!
We invite you to Neighbourhood Central for morning tea.
Following morning tea, sit back, relax and enjoy our screening of the Seniors Film Festival ‘It’s Your Call’ Short Film Awards.
This is a short film program made up of the best new Australian short films with seniors in lead roles.
At each screening, audiences will be able to watch the finalists in the Annual National Short Film Competition and vote for the Audience Award for Best Film!
After the film, board the bus and head to our favourite place for lunch; The Dish!
There will be some time for a wander and then sit down and enjoy your delicious meal.
After lunch, the bus will return to Parkes.
You can attend the movie screening or lunch at The Dish, or both!
Friday, April 8 – Friendship Games plus Amitie perform!
Enjoy a packed day of activities taking place at the Town Bowling Club, Cecile Street Parkes.
We will begin the day with morning tea, then it’s time to make friends and enjoy our favourite Sports Ability activities!
You will be able to participate in all activities, no matter what your age or physical capabilities are.
Enjoy a delicious lunch, then sit back and watch the amazing Amitie perform a program of classics that you can sing along to.
