Hosting second placed Bathurst City, a United victory will see the former league leaders leapfrog Dubbo into fifth spot.
The Bluejays sit two points ahead of United, but have the bye and will receive no points this weekend.
If Parkes can get over the top of Bathurst City at 1.30pm tomorrow, the four points will put them two clear of Dubbo heading into the final round.
Dubbo will host bottom placed Lithgow Zig Zag in their last match while United travel to take on defending premiers and competition front-runners Lithgow Panthers, placing a great deal of importance on tomorrow’s match.
United have struggled against City at times over the last two years, the physicality of the Bathurst side rattling the younger Parkes players.
They had a difficult first round encounter against City and will be out to avenge that loss.
Coach Aaron Huppatz knows his side will need to be at their best to defeat the tough outfit.
“City are one of the toughest sides in the Premier League competition,” Huppatz said.
“The girls will need to be 100% focused and committed to the game plan tomorrow.
“City have great speed up front and our defenders will have to mark very closely to ensure no easy goals are scored.
“Our season is on the line and that is great motivation for the girls to give their all,” he said.
Parkes Hockey Inc are encouraging as many people as possible to get to Stephen Davies Field at 1.30pm tomorrow to support United in their attempt to break into the top five.
