The Bob Collins Memorial Day was held last Sunday and was a great day exceeding all expectations.

The Collins family were well represented along with many friends to pay tribute to Bob, making special mention of the time and effort he put into the club over the years.
60 bowlers graced the green as well as many others who went along to pay their respects.
Everyone was a winner but the names to go on the trophy were Allan Affleck, Johnny Dunn and Mick Valentine.
The club would like to thank Parkes Cellars for their donations.
The biggest winner was perhaps Kev Hynds, winning two hundred clubs and a couple of meat trays.
Kev is a great supporter of both clubs.
Saturday evening bowls was won by Dawn Parker and Bill Hawken, runners-up Nev Whitfield and Brett Cusack.
Thursday twilight bowls was a good night with lots of fun with light music in the background.
Winners were Bulldogs with Dave Law’s team finishing runners-up.
This weekend Club Fours will be played.
Saturday evening bowls need names in by 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
At 10am on November 29, a childrens hospital charity auction and fun day will be held.
It is for a great cause with lots of novelty things for the kids.
The club is also very involved in the Elvis Festival this year with four functions in place.

Tonight there will be raffles, a badge draw as well as the joker draw.
