Good luck to all of our Parkes Little Athletics athletes headed to Sydney.
While competing at regionals two Parkes Little Athletics athletes broke regional records.
Toby broke the U11-12 800m multi class run record.
Toby is off to state championships competing in five events.
Emrys also broke the 700m run record at regionals.
The previous record has been held for four years with a time of 2.38 minutes.
Emrys ran a time of 2.37 minutes.
Emrys was awarded second place as the winner from Glenbrook also broke the record with a time of 2.34 minutes.
Emrys is not off to state championships as he is too young but will definitely be headed to state championships in years to come.
On top of qualifying for state championships Ryker Moore has also qualified for nationals in Adelaide in April 2024 after competing at the NSW Country Championships.
Ryker will be competing in the U13 200m and 400m sprint at nationals and three events at the state championships.
This is an amazing effort by all athletes and everyone involved in Parkes Little Athletics, well done.
