The Parkes CWA group has received another boost recently after Commonwealth Bank Parkes has donated $500 to help with the purchase of helmets through Kinsela Motorcycles in Parkes.
Troy Peters, Commonwealth Bank Parkes branch manager, said he and his employees were keen to support such an amazing community initiative.
"More than ever, communities across Australia are feeling the effects of lockdowns and other pandemic-related impacts, so this is one small way we can champion those local organisations who continue to do good work within our community," he said.
We are pleased to support Cycling Without Age Australia, Parkes Group.
"In particular, making the days so much brighter and joyful for the elderly community, so it's great to be able to support them in this great work," said Mr Peters.

The CWA movement is a worldwide not-for-profit organisation which originated in Denmark in 2012 that connects people who are no longer able to ride themselves with their community and the outdoors by giving them free rides on trishaws piloted by volunteer cyclists.
A trishaw is a light three-wheeled vehicle with pedals, a type of tricycle designed to carry passengers.
The program promotes inclusion and positive interaction between aged residents and community members and their environment.
CWA Parkes committee member Peter Guppy anticipates the (free) trishaw service to be back rolling by the end of January, with all three nursing homes in Parkes, and those in Forbes, set for weekly visits.
Peter also indicated the group was keen to purchase a trailer so the trishaw could be taken to residents Peak Hill, Bogan Gate, Trundle and Tullamore as well.
If that wasn't enough, he is keen to get a group going in Cowra as well, and would be keen to help volunteers set it up.
Commonwealth Bank is committed to driving positive change within the communities in which it serves to make a difference locally and for all Australians.
As part of this, the bank has again pledged to donate a further $400,000 nationally, to recognise those organisations that make a difference to the communities in which they operate.
