Parkes police have issued a number of fines to people who are out and about without reasonable excuse in breach of stay-at-home orders, or not wearing a mask, this week.

Police also detected that one man was carrying a small amount of what's believed to be cannabis when they stopped him on Sunday afternoon because he wasn't wearing a mask. The man will face court over the drug possession, and received two infringement notices.
Three other people were fined the same day, including one fast food worker who was not wearing a fitted face mask.
There is a $500 fine for not wearing a fitted face covering and a $1000 fine for being in breach of the public health orders.
Police are also investigating malicious damage to a premises in Clarinda Street after the front window of a political office was graffitied.
Police said the damage was done on Sunday night, they are investigating the offence and reviewing CCTV footage of the area.
