The result has been released by the Western NSW Local Health District as it occurred after 8pm last night, it is to be included in NSW Health figures tomorrow.
The positive test result follows a call to the community to get tested after detections of fragments of the virus in the Parkes sewage on several occasions since August 11.

Residents are once again being urged to attend for testing if they have even mild cold-like symptoms or any concerns.
