Gwyneth Rice and Ethel Mitchell called the meeting in view of forming a Women's Bowling Club and Office Bearers were elected with President Gwyn Rice, Vice President Ruby McDonald, Secretary Ethel Mitchell and Treasurer Enid Noble.
With the annual subscription set a one guinea, the first game was played in April 1951.
Permission was granted by the Men's Club for the use of their greens one afternoon each week, with membership pegged at 32.
The club was affiliated with the NSW Women's Bowling Association on July 3, 1951, by paying an affiliation fee of three pounds ten shillings, plus a levy of nine shillings and three pence per member.

2021 sees the women bowlers still playing Tuesday, now in the morning, with a lot more relaxed vibe then in 1951.
Today the club has 44 affiliated bowlers plus social bowlers, and we still hold president days, trading table days, club championships, pennants and district events.
We are now a sea of colour instead of all white, but still play extremely competitive bowls with several of our bowlers winning district events and pennants to bowl at state level.
If you are looking for a fun, challenging sport to play, please come down on a Tuesday morning or Saturday afternoon and join in.
