In the Principal's Message printed in the Trundle Central School Newsletter, I was described as "a community treasure; a man of faith and integrity."

Amazingly beautiful words I read, feeling very proud. I pray that I can live up to these words.
It is the Trundle Central School primary children I write to you all about.
On my way out of Trundle for the Walk4Christ 2021 on April 22, on my final leg to Bogan Gate, I had arranged to meet with children and staff at their morning assembly.
What an inspiration this was: they applauded me the length of the street, they high-fived me along the fence and welcomed me into the School grounds - as if I was a popstar.
We then had a few photograph opportunities with the whole primary school before the Year 5/6 scripture class and their teacher joined me for a special photo, as this is the class I teach scripture to!
What an amazing amount of joy and pleasure I gained from this encounter.
I then presented a signed Walk4Christ t-shirt, to be hung in the Year 5/6 classroom, to loud cheers from my kids. Thank you Trundle Central School for making me so welcome - I actually felt part of it all.
The 23 kilometres to Bogan Gate were made so much easier by having spent that twenty minutes with you all.
There are still t-shirts available, and we are still accepting sponsorship. Thank you, one and all, for your overwhelming support of the Parish.
