Car accident on Currajong Street
On Tuesday morning, Parkes Fire and Rescue NSW was called to a motor vehicle accident on Currajong Street in Parkes.

On arrival, crews found two cars that had collided, with all occupants already out of the vehicle.
Firefighters set up fire protection and cleaned up the oil spill once the cars had been removed from the road.
Trespassing at Tottenham
Police from Parkes are investigating a report of a vehicle trespassing on a property on the Millridge Road at Tottenham on January 15.
A vehicle, described as a white Landcruiser utility, was seen driving on the property about 8.30pm.
The landholder responded and found tyre tracks that indicated that the vehicle had driven extensively around the property.
Police are asking for anyone with information about this incident, or anyone who has seen a vehicle like this acting suspiciously in the area, to contact Tottenham Police Station on (02) 6892 4001 or Parkes Police Station on (02) 6862 9999.
Truck incident
On Tuesday afternoon, Parkes Fire and Rescue NSW, along with the Rural Fire Service and Essential Energy were called to a scene that involved a truck hitting powerlines on Oliview Road.
On arrival, crews were informed that the power had been isolated and the truck driver was out of his truck and physically unharmed.
Fire team training
Parkes Fire and Rescue NSW recently completed a drill at the Parkes railway silos that helped them train for dust and silo fires.
There are many dangers associated with these sorts of fires and with many bulk storage facilities around the region, it is crucial that crews know exactly what to do to ensure these incidents do not escalate and to maintain the safety of firegithers and the general public.
The 417 crew are constantly refreshing and increasing their knowledge base.
Diesel theft in Peak Hill
Police from Peak Hill are investigating the theft of between 200 and 300 litres of diesel fuel from a header that was parked in a paddock on Collingwood Lane at Peak Hill.
The theft occurred sometime between January 11-18.
The theft of diesel is still an ongoing problem for landholders throughout the state and the Rural Crime Prevention Team are urging farmers to do everything they can to secure their assets.
