HotShots continued on though through all of the changing weather conditions with our indoor program in full swing.
The outdoor undercover area as well as the large clubhouse space allow for the programs to carry on.
Those who play in the junior competition enjoyed learning about the rules of tennis, answered various questions to test their knowledge and talked through strategies of doubles play for the yellow ball groups.
The week ahead has clear skies and high 20 degree temperatures which is perfect tennis weather.
NICHOLSON PETROLEUM COMP
The Nicholson Petroleum junior comp wasn't impacted by any weather event last week with all matches completed.
A reminder if players cannot play for parents to be courteous and contact their opponent so they don't wait around for no match play.
Our Orange ball coordinator Tia Dunn is doing a great job but last week only 1 match was played and 3 no-shows so please be mindful of everyone involved in giving your children the best experience.
TUESDAY NIGHT
Tuesday night competition players battled the showers throughout the evening and those who had long matches did get caught in a heavier rain shower finishing their final sets.
7pm start tonight and please don't be late. Courts are free from 6.30pm to have a warm-up so matches can actually commence at 7pm.
All draws with court allocations etc are on the parkes tennis website.
