The Shepherd Centre, which gives great help to hearing impaired people, holds a Loud Shirt Day every year to raise funds for their work. So, as helping in the areas of hearing and speech is one of the major areas of our service, we always support them.

This year, thanks to Covid-19, we had to do it differently.

The Bushman's Motel hosted some very strangely dressed people competing for the best coordinated and the best uncoordinated clothes, the loudest colours, the most Covid-safe, the best masks and so on.

There was no need for any other decoration of the room.

We were it.

It was full of colour and laughter, due to the imagination and boldness of our members as they paraded - socially distanced, of course - for the judges.

As a result, the Shepherd Centre is to benefit from $500 and we were all very happy.

It was last December when Parkes Quota Club members decided to branch out on their own after a massive 62 years known as Quota, and rebrand themselves as the Parkes Que Club.
