Orange has recorded its first new case of coronavirus in 12 days, the latest infection data from the Western NSW Local Health District has confirmed.

The new positive case takes the number of active cases in Orange to two, and the city's total number to 10 since the pandemic broke out in March.
Orange has the most confirmed cases of any centre in the Western LHD in total, with eight of those cases now recovered.
Alongside Orange's two active cases, there's two in the mid-western region and one in Bathurst.
The Parkes Shire remains at one case since April 6 but has no active cases.
Across the region, as of 10am on Sunday morning, the Western NSW Local Health District has 45 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Western NSW LHD says it is critical everyone in all communities continue to practice social distancing to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19.

Their advice is for everyone in the community to stay at home unless it is absolutely essential, and remember to:
- Clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
- Stay home if you are sick
- Keep your distance from others as much as possible through social distancing
