Did that mean we couldn't have a good time? Of course not! The people of Parkes were at their ingenious best trying to celebrate Easter at home this year, from dancing to isolation Spotify playlists to dogs being forced into bunny ear photos.
Churches streamed services online, backyards were scoured during Easter egg hunts and beautiful pictures were drawn with colourful chalk to brighten everyone's day. While it may have not been the ideal way to celebrate Easter, and not nice for families to be separated on such an important weekend, we, as a community, made the best of a bad situation.
