At 3.40am on Saturday, emergency services were contacted after a motorist came across a single-vehicle crash on The Bogan Way at Albert, 100 kilometres north-west of Parkes.
On arrival, NSW Ambulance paramedics located the body of a man near the Toyota Landcruiser.
Officers from Central West Police District attended the scene and an investigation was commenced.
Initial inquiries indicate the 29-year-old man was ejected from the vehicle when it left the roadway, collided with an embankment and rolled a number of times between 1.30am and 3.30am.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for motorists who were travelling on The Bogan Way early Saturday morning and saw the white Landcruiser to contact local police.
