Owner Jenny Jewell said the first market day, held on November 30, was well received and patronised.
"Our aim is to reach out to people in the Parkes and Forbes Shires who are affected by the downturn in business due to the continuing drought," she said.
"Our plan is to invite, at no charge, small business persons and patrons of our business who are affected by the drought to display and sell their quality items of craft, sewing, crochet, woodwork, jewellery and many other gift ideas.
The layout of Greenparkes Garden Centre has a long, wide, covered area following inside the fence line of the Forbes Road and Medlyn Street.
"This paved area is suited to the market concept as shade will be provided during the day for visitors," Jenny said.
The markets will be held on the next three consecutive Saturdays - December 7, 14 and 21 in the lead up to Christmas.
Greenparkes Markets will commence selling at 10am and conclude at 3pm each Saturday.
Jenny said interested vendors must apply prior to the event so she can ensure there is plenty of variety on offer.
"Vendors will have the opportunity to attend one or more days, with variety being our aim," she said.
Market insurance will be required and vendors are asked to bring their own equipment.
