Most players will be coming off the bye refreshed, although Chad Porter, Jordan Pope, Jay Slavin (Firsts), Eschar Luck (Juniors), Ash Ward, Cass Ward and India Draper (Tag) were all involved in the group 11 sides last weekend.
Parkes are sitting inside the top three in three of the four grades at the halfway point of the competition, although are well aware of the tough back end of the 2018 season that resulted in only one side progressing to the final day of the season.
The first grade side are coming off an important win over Forbes and will be looking to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since round 2.
On a congested ladder, the Spacemen have the opportunity to finish as high as first and as low as seventh, such is the close nature of the competition.
The form of Porter, Slavin, Brandon Paige and Jacob Smede has been outstanding, while the impending return from injuries of Brandon Tago and Sam Dwyer should place Parkes in a position to perform well at the back end of the season.
Both Reserve grade and League Tag face winless Bunnies sides who will be desperate to get off the duck at Pioneer Oval.
The League Tag grand final rematch will be played after the Parkes Marist League Tag match between the 2 Parkes Senior sides- which will showcase a number of future Spacecats. The juniors will receive the bye this week.
The junior League Tag will kick-off at 10:30am, followed by the Tag at 11:30, reserve grade and first grade.
Halftime feature
This weekend the Spacemen are pleased to be able to show of some action from our stars of the future.
