No one was seriously injured when a truck ran into the rear of a car at a railway crossing south of Parkes on Sunday morning.

Police were called to the scene of the accident at 10.50am where the female driver of a blue Toyota Corolla heading south had stopped at the crossing and was hit from behind by a B-double truck.
Police say at the time there were no warning lights flashing at the crossing.
The car was pushed across the crossing and into the guard rail.

Police are investigating a ram raid on a Parkes business on Thursday morning.
A white Toyota Hilux dual cab utility was driven through the glass doors of the Clarinda Street business at 4.20am.
At least eight chainsaws valued at $10,000 were stolen.
Police are investigating the possibility the suspects are linked to similar incidents which happened overnight in Dubbo.
Officers are viewing CCTV footage of the incident in an attempt to identify the offenders.

A number of vehicles and a shipping container were broken into at a work site near the railway line in Peak Hill between Thursday, March 28 and Monday, April 1.
Work lights, chains, UHF radios, first aid kits were among the assortment of items stolen from trucks and heavy machinery.
A large quantity of fuel was also stolen.
Police believe the offenders would have been at the site for a considerable length of time and are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything in that time frame to contact them on 6862 9999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A 20-year-old Bligh Park man was lucky to escape serious injury when he swerved to avoid a kangaroo and hit a tree on Friday morning.
The accident happened four kilometres east of the Lake Endeavour Road on the Henry Parkes Way at 8.40am.
He was able to extract himself from the white Holden Commodore and flag down a passing motorist.
Police attended and breath tested the man which returned a negative result.

A white Ford Focus was stolen from the driveway of a Mengarvie Road home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Later that day the same vehicle damaged soccer fields at Harrison Park by doing burnouts.
The vehicle was recovered from that location.
