The driver of a silver Toyota sedan failed to give way at the intersection of Gap and East Streets and collided with a white Hilux utility.
The 55-year-old driver of the sedan had two passengers in the vehicle, a 72-year-old female and an 80-year-old male.
The male passenger was taken to Parkes Hospital complaining of chest pains.
The 53-year-old driver of the utility was uninjured.
The sedan was towed from the scene.
