Thank you to the Parkes Champion Post for the support given to promote this important and vital project.
It was a very successful meeting, with three excellent speakers in Doctors Harwood, Yuhico and Troller.
Unfortunately we did not get the message through to some.
We had the “support” element present, but the “awareness” people so far did not get the message!
There are still many with their heads in the sand.
So there is still much work to be done in getting the message across to our younger men.
It may be too late when they realise that the cancer that has invaded their system is in an advanced stage, when this could have been avoided by earlier diagnose.
Again, an invitation is extended to all, those young and not so young, to another meeting next Tuesday at the Educational Centre commencing at 7pm.
