The Parkes ladies were out to avenge their loss in the grand final two weeks ago in the Western Masters League competition and did so in a convincing fashion winning their match 4-0.
The first half was very evenly contested with neither side able to make the most of their attacking opportunities.
Parkes goalkeeper, Amy Thornberry, was called upon to make several saves and did so with vigour.
Parkes coach Ian Westcott, was very firm at half time about the lack of possession Parkes had in the first half, and the number of turnovers which had occurred.
Parkes began to play a much smarter game in the second half, and were rewarded with a goal to Janelle Thompson after a strong run through the midfield by Wendy Rix.
Dubbo looked like they would even the scores when they were awarded a penalty stroke, however they pushed the ball wide of the net.
Parkes played lovely team hockey for the latter part of the second half, transferring the ball beautifully through the mid-field and were rewarded with Tracey Harrison scoring a hattrick of goals to give Parkes a four goal victory.
