With the continued support of the Forbes community, BTTB Forbes continues evolve and develop and has quickly become a vital service to young boys in our area.

This year we have employed a team of new employees consisting of eight full time and 12 casual staff.

During the year, the Forbes organization was invited to pursue the opportunity to provide an emergency care service, and this has proved to be a very successful venture.

This service provides boys, who would otherwise be in care often restricted to motel rooms, improved accommodation, a consistent home environment surrounded by positive staff and role models within our extended community to ensure positive outcomes.

The school program initiative has been embraced, branching out from Forbes High School, Forbes North and Forbes Central schools to Canowindra High as well as Warren, Trundle, Peak Hill, Young Public, Young North Public and Young High School.

BTTB offer programs for boys aged 8 - 18 years of age, and aims to upskill, build confidence, develop relationships, enhance resilience and showing participants what is available to them and how to access it.

These school holidays, the Forbes branch are running five holiday camps.

This is a great opportunity for the boys to have a break away from their daily routine, providing them with fun outdoor activities and some time away from technology.

There are numerous occasions when we have been asked 'what we are doing for girls in our community?'

Our response is always the same. We are nurturing and growing boys to be better men, fathers, husbands, brothers, uncles who play such an important part in the success of our future society.

We are excited however, to be hosting our first girls camp 'Girls to The Country' in Forbes in January 2022, and whilst only in its infancy we look forward to seeing where this may lead.

'MENtoring' programs are continuing to expand.

This program, along with others, is aimed at assisting disengaged, disadvantaged or 'at risk' youth and is based on an eight week period during the school term with targeted outcomes to build engagement, resilience, and sense of community.
