Some scores were almost unbelievable, with the young guns standing up.
Winner of the day, with a massive 49 stableford points and losing 14 shots off his handicap, was Nick 'The Nephew' Strudwick.
In 2nd spot with another great score of 44 points was Simon 'Junior' Hogan followed by Dale 'Koala' Stait on a countback from Matt 'card swipe' Wright, both on 42 points and losing a shot each.
Nearest the pins for the women were Lyn 'Purple' Davison on the 4th and Chris 'Pizza Stait on the 11th.
In the men's, the sharp shooter two weeks in a row, on the first, much to the delight from Bubba Rea, was Phill Smith who showed a different way of getting on the green for one.
Ian 'Silverside' Phipps cooked up the 4th and the sixth, and Rob 'Yoyo' Hey on the 11th.
In the raffle, I think this is the only thing Brian 'Choco' Hogan can win, with runners up going to Peter '3 putt' Picker, Nim Dzuiba and Rob Hey.

Next week will be a teams event sponsored by Brandon Smith and Nick Strudwick.
Our match play finals begin in November with some interesting match ups, starting with the women.
Dawn 'Silver' Phipps gets 15 shots start against Lyn Davison, with the winner taking on Chris Stait in the final.
In the mens, Nick Strudwick is getting a 21 stroke start from previous winner Phill Smith.
Matt Wright gets a three shot start from Ian Phipps in what could be the march of the round with both stating they will win.
Another interesting match will see our youngest player 15-year-old Simon Hogan getting a three stroke head-start from our oldest player 92 year old Billy Warren.
And our last quarter final is Dale 'Koala' Stait getting a seven stroke start from Nim Dzuiba.
I will be giving my tips for these matches at a later date: three previous winners never made the cut for this event, that is how hard it is to qualify!
Reminder it is a 7.30am arrival for 8am start commencing this Sunday.
