There are a lot of other Minor games that can be played, so if you can get in and organize them please do as the year is going fast.
The Champion Post will be only published on Thursday from now on, so the bowling news will be from Wednesdays and the following Saturday.
Last Saturday, our first day back on the green, we had a downpour just before game time so the numbers were down to 16 players .
The keen ones were rewarded though, as the sun eventually came out for a nice afternoon.
Winners were Lea Tanks and Neil Riley W 20+10, with the runners-up Ray Griffith and Allan Curteis W16+9.
So good to see some our members after lockdown!
There will be Friday night raffles as usual, with Happy Hour from 5-7pm. The members draw is $200 and the Joker draw is $1300.
Robyns Nest will be there with her delicious meals as well.
There are lots of Championship games to be played, and at this stage we are still going ahead with the Champagne Triples at the end of October.
