Just as the speeches during the Anzac Day civil commemorations in Cooke Park paused for those few seconds, a low-flying C-130J Hercules passed above all those who stood there at 10am.

The flypast on Sunday, arranged over selected towns across the state, was to mark the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force.
It was a goosebump-moment for all who gathered in the park and one that was among the highlights of Anzac Day in Parkes this year.
Another, was the number of Parkes residents who came out to recognise and pay their respects on the day.
The Parkes RSL Sub-Branch is "absolutely rapt" by the numbers at its Anzac Day events and services.
It was one of their biggest turnouts to date.
"We're extremely happy with the turnout - at the dawn service, as well as the march and commemorations in the park," Parkes RSL Sub-Branch president Keith Woodlands said.
"It was excellent to see so many school students in the march."

Mr Woodlands believes the reason for the large numbers was because Parkes residents missed out last year and found a new appreciation for Anzac Day.
"We also found a different attitude on the Friday before Anzac Day," he said.
"People were keener to buy our merchandise compared to other years."
Sub-branch secretary Paul Thomas said they had their biggest intake of fundraising money from the merchandise sales that Friday, which was made possible by volunteers and Parkes High School students.
"It was absolutely superb," he said.
"The generosity of the business houses and the community was fantastic.
"It was pleasing to see the high school students involved - they had a battle royale to see who could fundraise the most," he laughed.
"There was a winner! They were tickled pink."
And what's better the money raised stays local, supporting Parkes' returned veterans and servicemen and women, and their families.
A highlight for Mr Woodlands was the presence of guest speaker Air Vice Marshall Leigh Gordon, who was accompanied by his wife Adele.
"Leigh Gordon is an outstanding man," he said.
"He made the show so much better I think.
"He's very down to earth, he talked to everyone and encouraged everyone.
"He was a large part in making the weekend so successful."
Mr Thomas added that Air Vice Marshall Gordon really enjoyed his time in Parkes and congratulated the sub-branch on a great day and weekend.
