The festival - to celebrate all the arts in the Parkes Shire - kicked off on Monday with an art exhibition and the first of five art and craft workshops, with lino printing.
The Proposal and The Wedding one-act plays hit the Little Theatre stage that night, with special musical performances from the Woodwind Quartet.
It was an overwhelming first day and the Parkes Shire's Arts Advisory Council couldn't be happier with how the week is going so far.
The Parkes Shire's Cultural, Education and Library Services Manager Kerryn Jones said the exhibition has really proved popular.
On its opening day, 10 pieces were sold and staff recorded about 70 people visiting.
"The feedback from the lino printing workshop [on Monday] was fabulous," Ms Jones said.
She said there has been a great response all-round to the workshops, which have been taking place in the new Makerspace Studio in the renovated Parkes Shire Library and Cultural Centre.
And participants are just loving using and the design of, the new studio.
"The workshops are doing so well, and how great is it to have five local artists running them," Ms Jones said.
Karen Ritchie's Get Expressive with Acrylics workshop was Tuesday morning, Pol Cruz's Assemblaarrge workshop Wednesday and Jo Laurie's Mixed Media Thursday.
There is one workshop left and it takes place on Friday with Deb Jones in her Banners from Recycled Materials workshop.
The Little Theatre will also host its first of two improvisation workshops on Friday, for eight to 14-year-olds from 1pm to 4pm.
The 15-year above improvisation workshop will run on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
Meanwhile there will be an art and craft pop-up fair in the Makerspace Studio from 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
And the junior one-act play Mother Duck takes place Friday night - before the much anticipated Arts Alive event - and Saturday afternoon.
The festival's last day will also finish up with live music performances into Saturday afternoon and night at the Parkes Library and Little Theatre.
