Everyone enjoyed the social side of doubles and it was a great day for development and match play.
Results from the day were as follows:
Division 1 winner was Lachlan Unger.
Division 2 went to Ethan Hunt.
Bodhi Ashcroft took out Division 3.
And Division 4 honours went to Savannah Latu.
That concludes the Central West events for 2020.
As soon as the calendar for 2021 is released Parkes head coach Helen Magill will distribute it among the juniors to start planning.
COMBINED HIGH SCHOOLS TENNIS
The Parkes High School Open Boys team travelled to Bathurst last week to compete in a Western Gala Day.
The next couple of years will be a rebuilding phase after the four Year 12 boys who have served the school well for the past few years have now moved on.
Gabe Goodrick, Joseph Tanswell, Koby Wirth, Ethan Hunt and Sam Rivett were all great representatives.
They raced through the round matches against Blayney, Dunedoo and Dubbo High schools, winning all matches comfortably.
They came up against Bathurst in the final who have one of the best players in NSW in Jeorge Collins in their team.
Jeorge was too good for our boys and led his team to a 4 sets to 2 victory to take the Western title.
FRIDAY FAMILY SOCIAL PLAY

The final event for this year will be held on December 4 with a Christmas theme.
