Finishing the season with the Premiership cup capped a consistently strong year for the first grade team, who were ably coached by Josh Miles who returned to the club after tasting premiership success with the Trundle Boomers in rugby league.
Miles congratulated his team, the support staff and all those involved in getting the team on the field each week while thanking the players for their individual commitment to their fitness and for the extra work they did to ensure the club was successful in 2020.
Miles recognised Luke Bevan for his incredible performance in the grand final that secured him the medal for Man of the Match while also acknowledging the Top Pointscorer award in the entire division Luke received on Grand Final day in Mudgee.
The Welsh Wizard capped off his remarkable season with plenty of honours - though undoubtedly he will count his premiership medal and MOTM award as the most important.
Bevan won the Best and Fairest award by just four points, and was the only player nominated more than once for the Players player - highlighting the even contribution of the entire first grade squad.
Josh made special note to Club President Kevin Oliver and Vice President Anthony Stewart for backing him throughout the entire season before stating he would be back in 2021 to do it all again.
