Last July the 18-month-old was diagnosed with stage four high risk neuroblastoma - a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body, most often arising in the small glands on top of the kidneys.

Children aged five or younger are most commonly affected.

By the time of Logan's diagnosis, the cancer had spread throughout his little body.

So far Logan has received six rounds of chemotherapy, three rounds of immunotherapy, two operations, stem cell harvesting and countless blood transfusions.

Logan is the son of Rose Drayton and Aamon Delaney and this little fighter has another battle ahead of him.

Logan has relapsed after a bleed on the brain caused by three aggressive, cancerous tumours and a tumour on his thigh.

"Our little warrior has fought hard and strong, and with this new diagnosis his little body will again have to endure the gruelling process of chemotherapy," his aunty Teresa Janssen said.

"His tumors had stopped reacting to the chemo.

"We're hoping for a more positive outcome after this treatment."

Logan's new diagnosis will see his family come together on Saturday, February 29 in the hope they can raise some funds.

Teresa is coordinating the fundraiser and she is inviting the Parkes community to come along to show its support.

The family-friendly fundraising event will take place from 6pm to 10.30pm at the Parkes Railway Bowling Club in Hooley Street, Parkes.

There will be a sausage sizzle, games for the kids, lucky door prizes, photo booths, raffles and auction.

DJ Kevvy will also be providing the entertainment.

"Please come along and show your support," Teresa said.
