Last year the very important local charity Can Assist benefited from the generosity of festival goers to the tune of $4888.25.
Parkes Leagues Club Manager Luke Malam said the fundraising efforts each year at the festival are a huge success.
"Every Elvis we fundraise to donate to a local charity or organisation," he said.
Because of everything that was going on with the fires at the time we decided this year to donate to the Parkes Rural Fire Service.

"Because of everything that was going on with the fires at the time we decided this year to donate to the Parkes Rural Fire Service to benefit our local firefighting volunteers.
"We had six donation buckets around the club and over the five days we raised $6726.25 from our members and guests. That is a wonderful effort.
"We had two staff sitting at the sign-in desk for the five days, day and night, signing people in and taking donations."
