The meteorologists predicted some rain would fall on Monday and Tuesday and for many it did.
Parkes received the most rainfall with 24.6 millimetres recorded by 7.30am on Tuesday, this was followed by Dubbo at 15.6mm.

Orange also received a little rain at 6.8mm, then Mudgee (4.8mm), Bathurst (2.6mm), Young (0.8mm) and Lithgow (0.4mm).
No rain was recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology's weather stations in Cowra and Forbes.

Afternoon or evening thunderstorms are possible for much for the region on Tuesday with a little more rain possible.
Up to 10mm is expected in Lithgow and Mudgee, while around 5mm could fall in Bathurst, Cowra, Dubbo, Forbes, Orange and Parkes.
