The out-of-control 227,850 hectare Green Wattle Creek bushfire is now dangerously close to the historic precinct.
The 122-year-old NSW State Heritage Register-listed Caves House is among the accommodation areas to be closed due to the bushfire.
"Due to serious bush fire conditions, we have temporarily suspended all activities, including hotel, cafe, restaurant, cave tours and bush walks up to and including Friday, January 31," the Jenolan Caves website states.
"For your safety, the RMS has closed all roads in and out of Jenolan.
"Our priority first and foremost, is the safety and well being of our people and visitors."
Firefighters are on scene at Jenolan Caves as they work to protect buildings and surrounding areas.
Roads remain closed to the public, they include: Jenolan Caves Road and Edith Road between Duckmaloi Road and Bastard Point Road.
Kanangra-Boyd National Park is also closed until further notice.
The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) said the Green Wattle Creek fire remains active in a number of areas.
"Firefighters, supported by water bombing aircraft, are working to strengthen containment lines across the fireground today [Monday]," the RFS said.
"Fire activity may increase in local areas dependant on terrain and local weather conditions.
"Deteriorating conditions are forecast over the coming days with expected high temperatures and strong winds."
In the Jenolan Caves area, the fire is currently burning within containment lines, but people in this area are urged to monitor conditions.
