Returning for its 13th year, this shimmering showdown sees women from all walks of life pulling out the stops to resemble Priscilla Presley - Elvis' one-time love - with one lucky lady to be crowned the Face of the Festival at the Goodsell Machinery Miss Priscilla Dinner on Thursday, January 9.
Organisers are inviting women and their hair dressers from around the region to take part in the 2020 competition. Those interested in entering can complete the form at parkeselvisfestival.com.au.
The 2020 Miss Priscilla winner will enjoy all the perks of being crowned the King of Rock and Roll's leading lady for the weekend - instant celebrity status, plus special guest appearances at plenty of the festival's spectacular events.
"It's not too late to get yourself signed up for Miss Priscilla, applications are still currently open and we encourage all ladies to enter - whether you're a professional hair and makeup artist, beauty queen or just a passionate Priscilla fan out to enjoy one of the best nights of the festival every year," festival director Cathy Treasure said.
And if you can't commit to going full Priscilla - don't pack up the hairspray cans yet.
Ladies can still recreate a rockin' do for the Hairstyles of the '60s competition, or complete the look for the title of Miss '66 - which are both categories that feature at the Miss Priscilla Dinner.
Women can apply now on the Parkes Elvis Festival website - www.parkeselvisfestival.com.au or call the festival team on 6862 6000 for more details.
Locals and visitors wishing to attend next year's Miss Priscilla Dinner, tickets are on sale now for the event, which can also be purchased from the Parkes Elvis Festival website.
As well as a delicious dinner and witnessing the crowing of the 2020 Miss Priscilla winner, guests will enjoy a special performance by festival friend Dean Vegas, supported by Parkes' own singing trio Amitie.
It all takes place in the Starlight Room at the Parkes Services Club on Thursday, January 9 at 6.30pm.
Tickets are $66 and bookings can be made on 6881 8632.
