But there's one thing organisers need first to make it happen - the artwork, writings or photographs.
The Parkes Shire Arts Advisory Council held a workshop with artists and representatives of art and cultural groups at the end of August to develop a strategic plan to support and promote the arts across the Parkes Shire.
One of the key themes that arose from the workshop was the need for cultural spaces and a specific action was to locate pop-up art spaces where artists could exhibit their work.
A small sub-committee was formed and decided a good start would be to use wall space at the temporary Parkes Library in Clarinda Street, which is also an ideal community area.
Parkes' Cultural, Education and Library Services Manager Kerryn Jones said they're creating it as an introduction wall and will be calling it 'Our Arts'.
It will pave the way for creative people from all different arts and cultural groups in Parkes to showcase their work - be it painters, drawers, photographers, writers, poets, and even performing artists, sculptors, musicians, potters and cake decorators.
Because it's a wall, the sub-committee is asking for 2D artworks or photographs of the art, with plans for some information detailing the work, artist or group on each piece located beside it.
"We imagine it being for all art forms - the band could have a photograph of the group with their instruments, a painter can hang a painting or an image of them with their painting, a potter in their studio or a photograph of a sculpture," Ms Jones said.
"The purpose of the wall is to showcase and promote the many practicing artists and arts/cultural groups in the region.
"It is an opportunity for the people of the Parkes Shire to see the diversity of artists we have, and to learn about the arts and cultural groups that our community has to offer."
There will also be a size limit as the sub-committee is hoping for many creative people to submit something for the wall.
"It will bring life to a big empty wall," committee member Margot Jolly said.
"It's also a place for long term residents or newcomers to town to learn all about our arts on the stage or in the pub."
Ms Jones added "we don't have an art gallery unfortunately but this is a start".
The sub-committee has plans to begin looking for other pop-up art spaces in the new year but said they wanted to have a place ready before the end of this year.
They are inviting and asking community members who are ready to submit their work or photographs to do so by December 13 so they can begin preparing the wall.
"But it will continue to grow and change overtime," Ms Jones said.
"I've had many enquiries about it so there's obviously a lot of interest."
Those interested in contributing to Our Arts wall, please provide the following for the initial hang to Ms Jones at the Parkes Library:
