Dylan Mark Wykamp (28) of Namima Street, Eugowra, was charged with the offence - his second - at Parkes on September 11.
According to police facts tendered in court, Wykamp was disqualified from driving by an order of Lithgow Local Court for a period of five months from June 28 to November 28.
On September 11, police received information that Wykamp was in a B-double stopped on Bogan Street, Parkes, outside KFC.
Police attended and spoke to Wykamp who produced a NSW Heavy Vehicle Drivers licence in his name.
He was asked about the status of his licence to which he replied "It expires tomorrow I think".
Enquiries confirmed his licence was disqualified.
When asked why he was driving with a disqualified licence, Wykamp denied any knowledge of the disqualification.
Magistrate Philip Stewart convicted Wykamp in his absence.
"I take into account the defendant's occupation as a truck driver and therefore his need for a licence," Magistrate Stewart said.
"I also take into account the record of the defendant."
Magistrate Stewart fined Wykamp $750 and disqualified him from driving for a minimum of six months from November 18 to May 17, 2020.
