Optus has advised that as part of its commitment to improve coverage for customers in regional Australia, it will be commencing planned upgrades to its network across the Parkes region today, Tuesday September, 17.

Tom O'Dea, Optus Territory General Manager, Central NSW said the works are being completed to provide increased capacity and improve network coverage in the area.
"The planned works are expected to take place across a period of approximately five hours and during this time customers will experience limited service," he said.

"We apologise to customers who may be impacted as a result of these planned works and thanks them for their patience," Mr O'Dea said.
