Parkes Probus Club has 11 nonagenerians

The Parkes Combined Probus Club is proud to have a number of members who can boast being the ripe old age of 90 years or older.

On Friday, July 12, club members celebrated with their nonagenarians - a person who is between 90 and 99 years old - but unfortunately not all of who were able to be in attendance on the day.

Each year members celebrate this achievement as they appreciate the contribution these members have had to the success of the club.

Mrs Loris White cut the cake on behalf of all eleven members.

President Milton Blowes congratulated everyone who has reached this glorious time of life and thanked them all for their continued input into the working of the club.

All members sang Happy Birthday to the nonagenarians and they all shared in the beautiful birthday cake.

Life Member, Doug Allen and his wife Lucy, also celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary this year.

President Milton presented them with a congratulatory card and a bunch of flowers.
